70th Anniversary of National Foundation: Group Chorus Performance

Timeless golden songs, singing heartfelt emotions of a pure heart; thousands join in chorus, celebrating our motherland's grand birthday.

On September 26, Sany Group's grand choral competition titled "Saluting 70 Years, Building Dreams for a New Era" was held with great enthusiasm at the Changsha Industrial Park. Leaders from the company, including Liang Wengen, Chairman of Sany Heavy Industry; Tang Xiuguo, President of Sany Group; Xiang Wenbo, President of Sany Heavy Industry; and Yi Xiaogang, Executive President of Sany Heavy Industry, joined forces with Sany employees from around the globe, coming together to celebrate their homeland with heartfelt melodies and offer the most sincere blessings to Motherland China.

Inside and outside the stage, the lights sparkled brilliantly, and flowers bloomed in vibrant abundance. The theme slogan—"Wishing Our Motherland Prosperity and Flourishing"—was visible everywhere, while China’s tallest 86-meter pump truck proudly hoisted the vibrant five-star red flag. Chinese red and Sany red intertwined harmoniously, shining brightly under the spotlight.

Under the same sky at this very moment, over 4,000 Sany employees and their families gathered at the performance venue, while simultaneous video links were established across the company’s nine global industrial parks. More than 20,000 Sany employees tuned in virtually at nearly the same time, collectively enjoying this electrifying singing extravaganza.

70 years like a song, echoing the past, present, and future.

Seventy years have seen the passage of time and the shifting of stars—seventy years of blossoms in spring and fruits in autumn. The choral competition kicked off with the resounding fanfare of "Sing to the Motherland." The performance was divided into three chapters: "My Motherland," "Saluting 70 Years," and "Leading the Future With Wisdom," beautifully celebrating the past, present, and promising future of New China. Twelve participating teams took the stage one after another, delivering captivating performances that inspired audiences and ignited a spirit of optimism and determination to move forward.

A deeply emotional female voice reading set the tone for the opening performance. The chorus "Yi Qin'e • Lou Shan Pass," presented by Sany Construction and the Zhusheng Garden Business Division, immediately transported the audience back to those challenging yet passionately inspiring times of years past.

The journey ahead is long and arduous, with countless mountains to cross. Yet it is precisely through revolutionary ideals and unwavering determination that our motherland has steadily overcome challenges, achieving a remarkable leap-forward development that has captured the world's attention.

Amidst powerful drumbeats, "Dedication to the Nation" was performed jointly by Sany Institute of Technology and the Process Informationization Headquarters, resonating deeply with the audience. In the background video, young students formed human formations that spelled out messages like "I Love My Country, I Love Sany," earning enthusiastic applause from the crowd. The slogan "Strive for Self-Improvement, Dedicate Ourselves to the Nation's Industry" perfectly encapsulates Sany's aspiration to fulfill its dream of "Dedication to the Nation."

Looking back on the journey we’ve traveled, the past 70 years have unfolded like a heartwarming and inspiring march, composing a magnificent chapter that chronicles our nation’s remarkable transformation—from standing up to becoming prosperous and ultimately growing into a global powerhouse. In the second segment, "A Tribute to 70 Years," leading business units—including Heavy Machinery, Petroleum Equipment, Construction Machinery, and Pumping Systems—gracefully took the stage one after another, delivering powerful songs that pay homage to our country’s extraordinary 70-year journey.

The "Sany China Heart" performance, presented by 100 graduate students from the Heavy Machinery Division, was deeply moving and brought tears to many eyes. The heartfelt sentiment—"Home is the smallest nation, and the nation consists of countless families"—resonated profoundly with every Sany employee. Throughout our journey in business and on the path of striving forward, we’ve always relied on the unwavering support and dedication of our families.

That evening, the Pumping Business Division delivered the biggest surprise with a立体式 (stereoscopic) performance that spanned from the ground all the way up into the sky. Amidst lively singing and dancing, drones formed the words "I Love You, China" hovering above the stage, as countless people in the audience raised their phones to capture this magical moment.

As the group’s two most iconic business divisions, Pumping and Sany Heavy Machinery delivered a vibrant and impressive performance, paying tribute to the nation’s development journey of "carrying forward the past while forging ahead into the future."

The magnificent 70-year journey is filled with extraordinary wisdom and profound insights. As we look at "Made in China" today, we need even more the courage and determination to "lead the future with intelligence."

In the third chapter of the performance, the melody "Leading the Way for Our Dreams," presented by three departments—the Heavy Industry President's Office, the International Headquarters, and the Business & Manufacturing Headquarters—was beautifully crafted and powerfully inspiring. Whether it’s China’s growth or the advancement of our era, only those who stay true to their original aspirations will move forward, and only those driven by innovation and reform will truly thrive. This is the core belief and spirit deeply rooted in the hearts of everyone at San Yi.

After scoring by the judges and audience, the first, second, and third prizes, as well as the Excellence Award, were announced on the spot. Xiang Wenbo, President of Sany Heavy Industry, took the stage to present the winning tickets. Liang Wengen, Tang Xiuguo, and Yi Xiaogang then joined him on stage to award the first-, second-, and third-place winners, respectively. "Leading the Way for Dreams" claimed the evening's top prize with the highest score of 94.77.

Long live the motherland—You are our shared name!

Sany employees, with the passion of song and the symphony of dreams, performed a magnificent ode to China's glorious era. On stage and in the audience, performers and spectators occasionally joined in a unified chorus, their powerful voices echoing across every corner of the motherland.

At the end of the program, Liang Wengen delivered a heartfelt, profound, and deeply meaningful speech. He said, "China is the world's oldest nation with the most splendid culture and its people are among the hardestworking in the world. For millennia, the Chinese nation once stood proudly at the forefront of global civilization. Yet during the First Industrial Revolution, we inadvertently dozed off and stretched lazily, falling half a step behind on the path to industrialization—and as a result, we paid a tremendous price. Since then, the Chinese nation embarked on an enduring journey of relentless self-improvement and determinedly catching up. Today, under the leadership of the Party and the country, we have not only risen to our feet but also grown prosperous and strong."

Liang Wengen stated, "The rise or fall of the nation is the responsibility of every individual. Whether large or small, a company's duty is to contribute to making our country and our nation stronger." Standing at the threshold of a new era, Sany's mission is to become a pioneer in intelligent manufacturing, driving China's transformation from a manufacturing giant into a global manufacturing powerhouse. He expressed his hope that all Sany employees would unite, dedicating their unwavering loyalty, boundless wisdom, and passionate enthusiasm to our great nation.

In his speech, he emotionally shared, "Among all the countries I've visited, not a single person asked me my name—instead, they only wanted to know which country I came from. Across every corner of the globe, amidst countless people, our motherland is our code name, our true identity, and the very embodiment of our honor and dignity!"

When emotions ran deep, Liang Wengen proposed that everyone present join in and shout "Long Live Our Motherland!" in the loudest possible voice—cheers erupted as the entire audience echoed in unison, "Long Live Our Motherland!"—their voices resounding throughout the city.

"The Five-Star Red Flag waves proudly in the wind, and how resounding is the triumphant song!" As the entire audience joined in a rousing chorus of "Singing to the Motherland," this year's choral competition came to a close.

One by one, melodious notes sing out the heartfelt sentiment of "Great Beauty, Great Love for China"; and song after song—each a hymn of our times—blend together into that heartfelt wish from the bottom of our hearts: "I love you, China!"
